B@M Tranny cooler w/fan @ thermostat, need wiring instructions. I got the new tech one, with the fan on it and the thermostat that automatically kicks on the fan @ 160 degrees.
I got no wiring instructions, & I want to make sure I am doing it the right way. Has anyone installed it on itheir car, or can explain to me the instructions?
It has 2 wires from the fan, obviously the ground and power (one red, one black) the other 2 wires come from the thermostat, and are black, with one of them having a red connector on the end.
Does the power source go through the thermostat, out the second wire which goes to the red wire on the fan? Then ground the black one from the fan? Then when it reads 160, it allows the fans to kick on. Thanks for the info.
