VIG guys inside plz
Ok I just installed a VIG converter the other day. I bought it in VA about 9 months ago. It was supposed to be a VIG3600 but is was GREEN not Pink (you can tell it used to be pink). The guy I bought it from said TCS refresh it? I called PI & they advised that S/N was sold in 2002 & it was a 3200. When I hit it from a stop I can't really tell when the stall stops (drive's great!) after the shift rpms drop to 4700 now how can I tell if it's a 3200 or 3600? I can break stall it in 1st to 2800rpm with not too much trouble. I love this converter over my Yank stealth 3200...
With my old converter it was obvious when it stalled out.
Any help would be appreciated.
Bill

Thanks John for the imput, I still can't believe how good this converter feels. With Vig3200 what should I expect for 60', before my best 60' was a 1.80?

My best with the 3200 was a 1.50, and my average was 1.52. This was with a car weighing 3300 to 3400. (me in it).
After numerous testing, I ALWAYS got the best 60's and track times by taking the convertor up to 1100 RPM's and hammering it from there when the lights went down.
Try to experiment what RPM your car likes to be launched from. Start at 900 & work your way up, ie: 900, 950, 1000, etc.
ET streets are a must with a convertor like this. Good luck.
