Default Shifting problems

Have 00 ss camaro has 54000 miles. Installed a p1sc at 6 lbs of boost longtube headers racetronix 255 lph pump with upgraded wiring car runs great but when I get on it it doesn't want to shift from 2nd to 3rd unless I get off the throttle. My brother has same problem with his 93 trans am also supercharged. His transmission was just rebuit but stayed with stock stall speed converter. Wondering has anyone had this problem is it the tune or transmission should I have my 4160e rebuilt with hp clutches or stay with oem rebuild kit with new stall speed

Have you tried changing shift points in the pcm? Possibly command it a few hundred rpm sooner?
