Default ls 4l60e questions

Hi folks I have a 2wd truck 5.3 style 4l60e I'm swapping into a 84 Camaro. I have already purchased a 6 bolt f body tailhousing for the torque arm mount provisions. I am still collecting parts for my LS swap so I haven't had anything mocked up for fitment and the like. First question are the mounting patterns for the transmission side of the torque arm the same or do I have to source a 4th gen mount/ whole torque arm? The next question is my car has the stock overdrive shifter-can that be made to work with the newer transmission or will I need to get a new ratchet shifter for the 4l60e application? Just wondering about shift activation length and such. This may be a dumb question but does a 700r4 driveshaft interchange with a 4l60e? Last question is related to the prior one- is the crossmember for the original overdrive transmission (assuming it was a 700r4) in the right location for a ls 4l60e swap? It seems from what I've searched the 700r4 and 4l60e are pretty much interchangeable physically would this be a true statement? I'm sorry for all the questions but I'm a former sbc/th350 guy this ls swap stuff is a steep learning curve! Thank you all in advance for any help!

I am pretty sure that everything will work. The 4L60E and 700R4 have all the same dimensions, so it should bolt right in.
