Default How many RPM's can you get out of you 4000 converter?

I've had a super cheap 4000 converter for a few years and its very tight. I'm going to upgrade soon. What are you guys getting out of your 4000 converters on a foot brake? This is a daily car, but 2000 out of a 4000 converter is too tight.

Your profile 'about me' shows a 2000 Z28. 'Foot braking',holding the brakes and bringing the RPMs' up until the power starts 'pushing thru the brakes' is typically in the 1300-1500 rpm range. A 'looser' convertor will allow more than that,a very loose convertor will allow even more. Only a transmission with a 'transbrake' will allow the rpm to go up to advertised stall figure.

I know how transbrakes work. I also know a guy who gets 3200 out of his 4000 yank on a foot brake. I know that rear gear, car weight, etc. Have an effect on the stall speed. I'm just trying to get an idea what others are getting out of their good converters.
