Default 4l80e 2-3 shift slow

Had a quick question about the 2-3 shifts on a 4l80e. Trans is fairly fresh, and I know the clutches aren't slipping. I do have a hd2 kit that I hear makes the Trans shift a little slower. What can I do to get this to shift as quick as the 1-2? It's like it releases, shifts, then re applies? Thanks

The on and off sounds like a tuning issue. The speed of the shift is mostly controlled by seperator plate feed hole size and accumulator spring (if your using one). There are of course other factors, but these are the main/initial.

Well even with the stock tune it does it. I've tried a few tuning changes and nothing changed

Can you adjust the DC for the 2-3 shift only in your tune? What is the DC% on that shift?

When you installed the HD2 Performance Shift kit, what separator plate hole sizes did you use here? 2nd? 3rd? 4th? Did you make sure that the separator plate "did not" cover any holes or partially covered any of the feed holes, especially on the 3rd gear circuit.
