flexplate help for a 700r4 on a lq4

Default flexplate help for a 700r4 on a lq4

i have a lq4 its a 03 and it has no flex plate or spacer with it . i found a used hughes hp4004x on ebay for $50 now my question is do i need a spacer? if so which one/? and in what order does this go together pacer then plate or plate and spacer? I'm putting a 700r4 behind the 6.0 any help would be great thanks.

Flexplate on first then spacer on top of it. If you put the spacer under the flexplate obviously it is going to move the plate out which will make the starter not hit it.

Not familar with the converter but on the 5.3l/700r4 i just lut together i had to oblong the torque converter bolt holes on the flexplate a little bit to get them to bolt up together.

I don't have a converter yet that flex plate I got is to go from a ls to old style trans so the converter will bolt right up with iut reaming the holes . I was unsure if I needed a spacer or if I did what one I should use

Acc to Hughes this flexplate bolts to a non extended LS crank, then needs the spacer to make up the distance to the snout on a non 4L60E converter
700, 350, 400 4l80e converters use the spacer
