So was reading you can do a relay mod of some kind when swapping a 4l80e into a 1998 camaro with the old style pcm. Is there a kit I can buy somewhere for this?

Contact member "slow67" on here. He will get you a copy of instructions on how to do it. He asks for a small donation for his knowledge. I did this on my 98 SS and has been working for 2 years now. You have to swap a couple wires in the PCM, delete a couple, and wire in a relay and delete a couple of error codes.

Actually just looking into jakes 4l80e full manual control box now. Would be real easy and I could have it shift whenever I want!

I just don't get how 2 wires makes it shift manually. I must be missing something?
