Converter choice. HELP!!
What is THE converter to get for a full weight car drag car with mods in sig (puts down 420/385)plus I have all other suspension parts blah blah blah.... I am converting to th400. Streetablity is not a worry. Just need to get all I can out of the setup.
Also I have spray. 150hp TNT. So give me one converter opinion for spray/motor and one for just motor.
Thanks in advance,
Darrell

What about the new ss4000e. I hear the E makes it stronger for power adder.
Also I will have a 4xx ci motor in the next year probably in the area of 530flywheel. I don't want to have to change the stall.

I spoke to TCI today and I think I am getting a TCI 10" comp 4200. He said it will work great for my application 3500lbs. race weight and 420rwhp (with and without spray) as well as with my new motor build up that should give me 520rwhp or more. It will cost $580
I also think I am going with their comp trany manual with transbrake. And I was told with my setup to keep the stock first gear 2.48:1 ratio. And this is $1200
Ant comments on this?
Thanks,
Darrell
