Will the 6 bolt converter from cts v 6l90 bolt up to a 4l80 6 bolt flywheel
I am swapping a 12 6.0 ls engine with LSA blower and LSA cylinder heads and BTR stage 3 cam into my 1970 C10 Suburban. I am having trouble with what transmission setup I want to use. I have chose a 2012 6.2 engine computer and harness but that limits me on what transmission I can use. I have a T56 from a 04 CTSV I was going to use but want to tow with truck.
I have thought of using a 2011 CTSV 6l90 because they are very strong transmissions. I plan on making at least 600 hp. If I do this I may have to get the ECU and harness for a 11 cts v because the TCM is a different part number from a 11 escalade to a 11 CTS V
They other road block I am hitting is my 12 6.0 is a 6 bolt crank and the LSA crank is an 8 bolt where it bolts to the crank. so the flywheel is different. I could get a 4l80e flywheel to bolt up to my crank and it has 6 bolt holes for the converter just like the Cts v 6l90 has a 6 bolt converter to flywheel bolts. Just wondering if the 6l80 flywheel will work for a 6l90 application.

Negative, the OE CTSV is a 6 lug converter but on the LS bolt pattern. Any standard 4L60 or 6L80 LS bases flexplate will work and you will get 3 bolts of the 6. We have a SFI certified option for the 6 bolt crank and the option of using all 6 on the LS bolt pattern.

OOps I meant to ask if a 4l80 flywheel will bolt to a 11 cts v 6l90 torque converter.
Please post me a link if its allowed.
So you think a 4l60 flywheel would work with just three bolts installed? Sorry I was confused by your answer.

Is this it? If so, it should bolt all 6 bolts to a 11 cts v 6l90 converter?

The 4l80 flexplate is flat and will not accommodate the curvatures of the 6l90 converter. You will need a dished flexplate for this reason. The 4l80 has an 11.5" pattern while the 6l90 converter is 11.066. Our dished steel SFI flexplate will work great allowing you to use all 6 converter bolts.
