Help with tuning a 4l80e with D1 transbrake
I recently installed a Jakes D1 transbrake in my 80e. I am wondering if there are any tuning changes I should/need to make, other than preventing the 1-2 upshift? For example, I have seen mentions of line pressure changes, in some youtube reviews, but am unsure of what tables exactly need to be changed. I am using HP Tuners. Thanks

I'd love to. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem interested in returning my calls. I've been trying to get ahold of him for 2 weeks now. They tell me he'll call back, but nothing.

Michael Scott. I first called on Jan 28th. Then a few times afterwards.
The needed tuning in the instructions only mentions preventing a 1-2 shift while in manual low. There is no mention of the fact that using the brake with throw a "B" solenoid code (p0758, if I remember correctly), thus causing the trans to go into limp mode, which holds it in 3rd gear. That ended up being the cause of my initial issue. Do to that omission, I am wondering if there is anything else that was left out. If not, great. But if there is other stuff I need to change, I would like to know. Thanks,
Michael

You called on Feb 3rd.
I attempted a call back and likely left a message if your VM works.
No other specific tuning beside that. It varies in each OS, so it's impossible for us to give more specific tuning advice.
Sometimes it will set a pressure switch code (usually 1810).

Feb 3rd was my 3rd call in. The gal that answered, already had a note in front of her that I was waiting on a call back, either from my Feb 1st call, or Jan 28th when I talked to Chris. He wasn't sure what the issue was, and was supposed to talk to you about it. This was before I knew about the codes causing limp mode. I show no missed calls from you and my VM does work. Doesn't matter now, what's done is done, I'm not stressing it.
If there is nothing else I need to do, awesome. I look forward to some nice gains at the track!
Thank you
