TH350-What converter for LS1 with LS6 cam
What size converter would suit a TH350 behind a stock LS1 with LS6 cam and the usual bolt on mods etc.
What converters do people upgrade to behind internally stock LS1 engines and internally stock LS6 engines?
Car is a light weight 3050lb street car with 3.55:1 in the rear.
I have been leaning towards 2800-3000rpm max, any thoughts or experiences?

Is that all you have just a cam and matching valve springs?
I take you have a good exhaust and PCM has been edited?
But 10.94's is making my mouth water, I was going to be happy with high 12's in a standard engine car.
So you think 3000rpm would be good for LS6 cammed LS1 or should I go more 3400-3500rpm?

what do you want to do with it in the long run? Coach's car is a drag car no denying that one. Still driveable on the street i'm sure, but it's got a purpose. Do you think you'll spray the car? if so then you may want to stick around a 3200-3500 i would think. If not, even in the stock 4L60E's, the Yank TP4400 has proven itself a winner. That would be a great choice for going fast N/A. Or do you want it to be a street car with 10% strip duties? Do you want something more suitable for daily driving. In that case i would think the same 3200 to maybe 3800 stall might work. That lower gearing (numerically) would make a converter feel a bit looser in contrast to if you had a steeper gear like a 4.10, but you get used to it.

z28... more like you said 10% strip duties and mainly weekend driving, but I want it to have some go as well, not a car I plan on driving thru bumper to bumper peak hour traffic.
No NOS either, just relatively standard motor, with 3.55-3.73:1 gearing and around 26" tall tires.
