Have it all in and mocked up and don't have to modify the tunnel surprisingly. Using the Holley stock LS mounts it all fits. Question is that the trans pan hangs low below the frame, and I don't want to raise mounts and cut tunnel because my driveline angle is good right now at 3 degrees. Besides the obvious, anyone ran their pans low?

I wouldn't risk that, cause by the time you may have a leak you could toast a decent trans, I swapped out the 6L80 to build a proper 4L80 and sell the stocker, if you ever decide to really up the power, that 6L80 won't do well and the tuning is very finicky, if its off your trans is done.... i'm shocked that it fit on the mounts front and rear, yet hangs low.... that 6L is a big sucker.... good luck

About all you can do is use the pan and filter from a Pontiac G8.

Sorry for the perhaps obvious question, but is that pan shallower than what the OP current has? And if yes, by how much?
