Default 6L80 extension housing bushing and seal question

I have a 6l80 2WD transmission in my Dakota.

I shreaded an aluminum driveshaft, which pulled the bushing out of the extension housing and tore the seal.

Is it as easy as unbolting the extension housing, and driving in a new bushing and seal?

Thanks.

This is what my extension housing looks like.

This is the bushing that came out with the yoke.

The Bushing walked out, The Extension Housing is most likely trash....The new bushing will no longer be a press fit.

I have seen this happen with 6L80E's swapped into older/different make vehicles a few times now, Driveline vibrations/harmonics/angles were the cause.

Where did you get the 6L80 from in the first place? I can't seem to find any in the junkyards around where I live (East Tennessee area). Thought about ordering from these guys, https://reman-transmission.com/trans...des/?code=6L80. Do you all have any recommendations? Need to have one within the next few weeks
