Default Tips for installing spacers on TC, 2001 Camaro

I have to put about a 1/8" spacer in and only spot to do it seems to be where starter would go. Damn im struggling trying to get washer in between converter and flexplate and get screw in at the same time... Any tips?

After installing the first bolt, don't tighten it at all; keep it very loose. That keeps a gap between the converter and flexplate so that you can more easily install the other two bolts. Don't tighten until you install the 3rd bolt. Then turn the crank as needed to tighten the other 2 bolts.

Help to have slender fingers too.

Got it using my fingers and my wife on the end of 3 foot extension holding the bolt.

I also use grease to get them to stick in position.
