Hey I've been searching but haven't found an answer.

I ordered a transstar rebuild kit and trans go hd2 reprogramming kit. I swear I took two seals out where the red arrows are and I don't seem to have them in the new kits. I called trans go and they said leave them out, but I don't know if I was explaining myself correctly where the seals go on the phone. Am I crazy or do two seals go here?

I know for sure that the Trans-Go SK-4L80E has the seals, Not sure about the 4L80E-HD2. Been quite a while since I used a Trans-Go kit on a 4L80E.

Trans-Go tech line is a joke just like some of their products.

Regardless, The Case to Center Support seals are not a factory part & not absolutely needed.

Thanks for the reply. That was my last hiccup. These rebuilds aren't all that bad and the prices from Northern auto are great on the trans star kits. Also Hiram Gutierrez has great how to's on youtube.
