What year 4l80e trans to get? I heard different years had better oil circuits. Not sure that's true. This is for a 2000 firebird

'91-'96 have radically different lube circuits than '97 & up units.
In my opinion one doesn't "Lube" any better than the other. Start mismatching parts....Then you have serious "Lube" issues!

The Lowest Mileage-Virgin unit you can afford is always best! Which would probably put you in a '04 & up unit.
