Default M6 to 4l80e swap shifter question

I have a stock auto shifter and cable.
I am having difficulty getting the shift cable to attach to the 80e bracket.
What are you guys using to connect your shifter cable to the tranny? Any pics would be great. Thanks

So your using a stock 4l60e shifter/cable I'm assuming?

If so you can use that factory cable bracket and elongate the 2 holes in it so you can slide it and adjust it so all the 80e gears line up.. Mount the cable bracket to the Trans pan

You might possibly have to drill new holes into the plate bracket and play with the length till all the gears line up..
