Default 4L80E identification via part numbers only

Hey guys - I'm trying to confirm the identity of a 4L80E that I found for sale. Did some searching and didn't come up with much on what exactly identify it as 2wd/4wd etc. He sounds like an older guy and can't really figure out how to send me pictures, but he read off to me these part numbers that are on the transmission:

P/N 24208421 GM-P7 (from what I've seen looks like this indicates and 80e)
11880GY

He said it is out of a 3500 handicap van, 2wd. But he also said it was a 5.3 so that is whats throwing me off here. I just want to confirm that it is a 2wd 4L80E before I drive 2 hrs to get it. Anyone have good info for me to confirm this without pics?

Thanks!

The Case part number wont tell you if it's 2wd or 4wd.

2500/3500 Vans can have a 4.8L, 5.3L, or a 6.0L with a 4L80E.

Wow I never knew that thanks. How can I tell the 2wd vs 4wd easily? All I've read is one is longer than the other. Just want to make sure it's 2wd

If he said it came out of a 2wd van, then its a 2wd trans-ask him what side the plug is on for the harness, and it has a tail shaft housing (2wd)
80E has the harness plug on the DS
