Default Transmission cooler

I am swapping from a manual to a 4l60e in a project car I am working on for spirited driving/drag. I notice many of you run an additional cooler like the B&M 70266 or 70274. Are those large enough to use standalone if mounted in front of the radiator? This would be the cheapest and least time consuming route especially if an additional fan doesn't need to be used. Otherwise I was just thinking about getting a radiator with an integrated oil cooler, but then I am spending/making more work for myself. LMK your thoughts.

I'm running the 70266 mounted in front of the radiator on my Bolton/3600 stalled t/a . I bypassed my radiator and my temps great!!!! Average 150's at highway speeds and 160-170 in stop/go traffic. These temps are read from the test port on the side of my trans which I believe reads approx10 degrees higher from what I've read? Outside temps are 65-70 here. Im pretty sure you will run cooler trans temps with a good quality stand alone cooler vs cooling through a radiator as your antifreeze keeps you trans fluid temps up there.
