First time to the track with my car and the SSF3500.Whats the best way to handle this thing for the first time.I may have the use of some drag radials but not sure.I hope the track will have lots of VHT for traction.
What do you suggest in order to get a good launch and ET.
Thanks

if you dont have sticky tires=
good luck trying to get that thing to hook. i would get sticky tires b4 you do anything. if you go there on street tires you might leave being mad at your times and hating ur car, but if you get some sticky tires you will more than likely be happier than a sissy in the couty jail

You'll just have to play with it yourself... All tracks are different.. I have a TCI SSF 3500 and on the track I can only stall it up to about 1700 rpm.. I get decent traction with et streets.. But thats mostly b/c of the poor quality of the track..(NO VHT) If I tried anything over 1700 rpm, then it would just smoke em off the line.. So yeah, just play around with your rpms, & see what works best for ya...

Get some BFG's or Et streets. The first time i went to the track with nitto's and et drads the best 60' i pulled on nitto's was a 1.95 and ran about a .15 slower than i did on et drags. I also pulled 1.81 on the slicks. but the last time i went to the track i got the nittos really hot and they were pulling similar numbers as the slicks, but you better have good track prep....
