Default Another 60e issues!!!!

So I finally get my car back after the new build was complete and it ran awesome. Made good power on a mustang dyno for the mods. Mods are in my signature, however the car starts off in 2nd gear Can anyone help me figure out what is the issue please?

Usually when someone says their 60e starts in 2nd gear, it is actually 3rd gear due to "limp mode". Often a code scan will reveal the problem, which could be a slipping trans and/or engine sensor issues. Have you scanned for codes?

Yea it's been scanned for codes and nothing popped up. If it's starting out in 3rd gear then I ran 90mph in the 8th mile starting out in 3rd gear lol

(Sorry for the slow reply).

Please confirm then that it is shifting from (presumably) 2nd to 3rd.
What about 4th?

Please give us more details:
What happens with with shifter in [D1]? Does it feel like 1st or 2nd gear?
What happens with the shifter in [D2]? Many cars then start in 2nd.
Do you feel any difference between [D3] and [OD]?

Assuming the trans simply starts in 2nd instead of 1st, and then shifts up to 4th, I would suggest connecting a scanner that can read what gear the PCM is commanding.
