Default new flexplate with new 4l60e?

The 4l60e in my 00 SS was replaced with a new 4l60e (not a rebuild) according to previous owner. New trans has ~20k on it and I'm about to do a stall. I know the 00 has the stronger flexplate and hopefully still does. I'm wondering if it's common to not replace the flexplate when replacing the trans.

generally flexplates are only replaced when they are cracked. most people reuse factory flexplates when changing converters

If the car already has the stronger pre '01 plate then I will likely use it as long as it's in good shape. My thoughts were if it has a newer plate OEM plate, then I might need to get a stronger one.

Any other thoughts?

If it's still the '00-and-earlier version, I would just keep it.
