Default Precision Industries converter

Honestly I don't know if they're good or not, or if they ever were at one point. My transmission pump was dying on me, tuner told me my pressure was low in the trans. I decided to order a Performabuilt 4l80e. Tuner took the converter to a local shop to get cut and cleaned and found a bent ring inside and all those bbs in it. He said he's seen bbs take out pumps before. I'm curious to look inside the transmission and see what can he found.
Anyways it's a 1k $ converter and I'd expect better craftsmanship from them. Anyone else have bad experiences with them?

I would say they are typically a quality converter company.
We build converters at my shop so we see inside all the different brands.

What "BBs" are you seeing?

Pieces of brass?
