4L60E Checkballs Can anyone tell me where to find info for the checkball locations in the 4L60E valve body? Lost reverse gear after rebuild kit was installed.

The only checkball pertaining to reverse is in the case, and won't cause a no reverse situation. Most likely the culprit is the solid teflon rings on the pump which can get torn very easily especially if the rings weren't "sized" long enough. You did use the tool, didn't you ???? :o

Is there a way to tell that the rings are damaged by looking at them?
