Default 4x4 to 2wd speed sensor 2005 4l60e

I hope someone can help. I want to buy a ls3 with 4l60e I found in a 2005 truck 4x4.I don't have a problem swapping shafts and tail housing. The problem I see is the 4x4 tail shaft has 2 sensors. I think they are both speed sensors ,there is also 1 sensor on the transfer case.I know the 2wd tail shaft has only one speed sensor. Is this going to cause problems only using one sensor and which one do I use.In the past I messed up the wiring on the speed sensor in a 94 trans am and the 4l60e wouldn't shift out of 1st.until I replaced the wiring to the speed sensor.

I don't know the exact answer, but worst case a brand new VSS sensor for 2WD is only $15.

Also, you a probably looking at an LS2 since the LS3 did not come out until 2008.
