Nothing, it will bolt right up.

The 4L60e from an LS1 and a 5.3 are the exact same transmission.
The only difference is the tailshaft housing and shifter linkage, both of which can be swapped over in 10 minutes.

They are the same. The transmission itself is the exact same.
The Camaro tailshaft housing is different because it has mounts for a torque arm. That's pretty much it...

Somethings not original.
A 2000 4L60E that was originally installed on an LS1 will bolt right up to a 2003 5.3. In fact if someone posted a picture of the engine side both transmissions would look exactly the same.

Post some pictures. Or at the very least post what the sticker on the case says.
Still could be mismatched parts.

The case sticker has the year code and body line. On one of these pics is a 2002 f body, if the sticker is missing it's stamped on the bottom by the tail housing. One pic is a 1999 c series truck. A 4x4 will have a K instead of C.

All the ones you mention should have a 12 o'clock bell housing bolt and a input shaft that looks like the one in the picture.

Sound like you either have a v6 2000 4l60e or one from a LT1 car (93-97).

The 2000 LS1 trans and the 2003 5.3 would have the same bellhousing and input shaft.
