Not sure on the pricing of the stuff you're looking at there but for around $260 you can get our complete cooler kit! comes complete with a stacked plate cooler, 15' of #6 black braided hose, all hose ends, and fittings to hook hose up to transmission and cooler.

Personally I would avoid any Jegs/Summit "Brand" parts for anything critical.
The Derale 12733 looks similar to that JEGS part and is only $20 more. While it might even be identical to the Jegs part, I suspect the quality control is a bit better.
I currently have a 18"x10" tube&fin cooler without its own fan and my trans temp always is under 190F. (Switching to a 10"x10" Derale 15851 plate cooler soon to make room for an engine cooler.)

I just installed the B&M cooler you posted.
It's huge!
It probably holds a quart + by it self.
I hopefully will tell you by this weekend how it works.
It's the only cooling for the trans.
I wish I would have seen FTI's deal 1st!

I personally run the b&m 70274 on my car and on my Silverado. Both with braided an line setups. I'm not running a fan on either of them, they soak up enough airflow to keep the temps WELL within check.

OP here's my part list for my coolers. I have them on the Camaro and the Yukon. I've added ebay fans to both to give me even more control over temp.

I should have probably added a few details....
This is a street use/daily driver. Will not be seeing the track.
Trans currently has a Trans Go shift kit but I am unsure if the transmission has been rebuilt.
I live In Florida - so Im constantly in the 90 degree weather range.
98CayenneT/A....thanks for the detailed screen shot. I am a newb with all thats entailed with installation of a converter/cooler. Ill be using a local transmission shop for the installation.

Yank ss3600 which only locks in 4th above 45 mph, I see around 150-160 degrees driving around town on brutal humid hot August Minnesota heat in the summer. Hottest I have got it was 179 degrees on a road course after quite a few laps.

I would respectfully disagree here. Jegs and Summit make nothing themselves. They are just relabeled name brand products. I've bought and installed several like their ring and pinion and mufflers, and once in your hand you can tell exactly who's actual part you are holding, meaning they do nothing to hide it. To suggest that some quality control is lacking on these specific ones as they come down the same assembly line is absurd....
Everyone has to constantly decide between a name brand and a lower priced generic.
My post was definitely an opinion and not a fact.
And thank you 01ssreda4 for all your tremendous help and guidance on the forum; it it greatly appreciated. Even when we disagree on something (which tends to be very minor). 21,000+ posts is just crazy and shows how generous you are with your time!

Always good to have a contrasting opinion on such matters.

The braided line I have posted are two pre cut 6 ft. lines which are plenty to go from tranny to my cooler mounted on my radiator on the driver's side half.
The list I have posted will work with the H7B and by pass the stock cooler in the radiator.

Where are you mounting your cooler?

I'm not calling bs on 6' being enough length just yet I reckon, but those lines have to be tight as all get out. I did 10' lines on mine and maybe have 1' of slack to route them nicely up front. That's coming directly off trans under the heat shiedling, running straight up front along passenger side frame rail also behind the heat shielding and the cutting over behind the vacuum can reservoir into the bumper where the slack is, then angled around over to the cooler which on mine is mounted to the MWC bumper support directly behind the front license plate filler.
How did you run yours to only be able to use 6'? Just trying to picture in my head how you ran the lines is all.
