Stall help!

Default Stall help!

I daily drive my 99 Camaro SS. It's a stock block car, with bolt ons, heads, and a cam. It made 400 whp. I plan on throwing a bigger cam in and a 150 shot of nitrous. I'm building a TH400 for the car and I need help choosing the right converter. I need something that is driveable, but aslo launches hard on the street. What stall should I choose!?

What gearing are you running?
I used an ATI treemaster in my th350 with 4.30's and it was totally drive able.

I now have a 5C converter in my 80E and it's almost too tight at idle but perfect when you get on it.

My son now has that combo in his Malibu with 3.42's and it seems a little looser but still fine.
