Default 2000 Camaro Z28 Tranmission Questions

I got a 2000 Camaro Z28 4L60E transmission, looking to buy a transmission 4CAD223B is the transmission vin all i can find out about it is that it is a 2004 model but cant find and information if it will work in my 2000 Camaro z28

Please Help

If its a 4l60e it will work, but you may need to change tailshafts. Remember it needs to be from a rwd front trans car like a gto or truck, NOT a vette.

Yup, any '98 - '08 4L60E/4L65E/4L70E from a non-Vette LS-engine 2WD vehicle will work. It should have a bolt hole in the 12 O'Clock position of the bell housing to indicate it has the LS-style 300mm input shaft.
