Question Will a Corvette C5 Differential Fit a 700R4

I'm not sure how similar the C5's 4L60E is to an older 700R4. In theory the only difference is electronics. The 700R4 was never installed in the rear of a Vette. Although I do want to know if it's possible to mate the C5 differential to a 700R4 transmission to avoid the electronics in a swap I am doing.

Please let me know if anyone has knowledge on this. Also, will there be any shimming or lash adjustments involved as well?

Also, if anyone has pictures of the 4 bolt input shaft openings for both transmissions, could you please post them for comparison?

I'd have to look for the pic a sponsor posted, but the case for the Vette 4L60E is different from all other 4L60E cases. Its more than just a different tail housing, the case is very different to connect to the differential.

Therefore I would say, no a 700R4 will not bolt up to a C5 differential.
