Default 4L60e Reaction Planetary Differences?

Doing a DIY rebuild on my 4L60e and my rear reaction planetary has some serious play in the gears. I have a 99 2wd 4L60e in my garage that has a good reaction carrier with no play in the gears. They are however slightly different where the flat bearing goes. Are they interchangeable?

My 2000 carrier is on the top. 1999 2wd carrier on bottom
