Default Thinking about swapping 4L60e to Th400, what additional parts will I need?

Will I need a new console, shifter, flexplate, anything else?

Well as you already know you will need an front upper M6 shifter console, shifter, dipstick tube, flexplate, tranny x member and a drive shaft.

I checked into what it would take to get one of those to work on my car, and it requires I change the stock torque arm setup to something else, like bolting up to a crossmember closer to the rear end.

The Gearvendors unit definitely will not clear the stock torque arm mount setup, and maybe not even the aftermarket torque arms that bolt up to a chassis mount in the tranny tunnel.

It's not impossible to install, but it's not plug and play.

also you will be going backwards since you will just be adding a crap load of weight to the car. plus all the power you will be looseing pulling a TH400 and one of those. if you want OD, just get a rossler 4L60.
