How many quarts to chg. all trans. fluid?

Default How many quarts to chg. all trans. fluid?

I'm getting one of those fast lube places to change all the fluid including the converter to Royal Purple synthetic. Did a search and it was inconclusive. Does anybody know the exact amount needed?

you gotta watch places like that becuase they will only replace as much as they take, but i heard 6 quarts then checking and adding. i am not positive tho.

I have read 11 in severral post but nothig definative.

For a complete flush the 11 qts is good.

only if they flush the ENTIRE system. trans, cooler etc
