Default Stall Converter/New Gears

I had a A4 with stock 2.73. Now I've changed my rear-end gears to 3.73. Which stall conveter range and strength would I need to match/take a M6 at a roll, and still keep a reasonable gas mileage. Burns or Pros to certain companies I could consider, but also price $350-600 is what I'm looking for.

Stick with Vig or Yank. I drove an SS with a vig 3600, it was great, very streetable. However just a tad looser than I wanted, a vig 3200 would be my recomendation. Btw, check out www.fastlouis.com

Should have bought a stick if thats the kind of racing your looking for , but a nice 3500 stall would be a good match for the gears dont know if you can still match a m6 , converter really helps us out the hole.

You need an efficent very high stall to run with an M6. Our trannies, even with a locked converter, eat more HP than an M6 you are starting in a hole when you race from a roll.

I would suggest the Yank PT 4000 but you can not buy it in your price range. Maybe TCI could try a custom low STR 4000 that might work for you.

Try Midwest yet? They are cheaper, and have a good reputation.

Low str Yank PT 4000? What would the low str attribute actually?
