Default A4 problems

the other day i got into my car and now it woln't move until the torque converter stalls.It does not move at all, no brake pressed, until 2200 rpm. It even starts to drive in netrual at 2200. The transmission was re-built in september 03 with a 2200-2800 stall.

First thing I would do is make sure your transmission fluid is not low. If the fluid is good call the place that rebuilt it.

That's crazy...if you figure it out update us. I'd like to know what the hell happened there. Maybe someone has heard of this before.....ttt for ya.

Happened to me once. Tranny was toast. Had to rebuild it AGAIN!

That sucks I have only got two runs on this tranny and now i have to rebuild it again. 2 runs and my pos little lt1 breaks it.

Rebuilds suck
I haven't heard or read of anyone that had a rebuilt tranny last a long time. It seems like the amount of money it takes to keep rebuilding it, you could of bought yourself a "heavy-duty" replacement.
I sure hope your tranny isn't "toast" again, keep us updated.
