Default Vacuum modulator

Have a '98 Z28 in the middle of the T-56 to TH350 swap. Installing a manual valve body. Do I still need the vacuum modulator? If I did what would I hook it too. Also, wish I had a link to a good Torque arm relocation bracket. gracias

T- Off the brake line for the vaccuum modulator. Not sure if you have to have it though. I know Yank has a TA mount might check into it.

manual valve body will eliminate the vacuum modulator.

I would just buy a torque arm that doesnt mount to the trans like a spohn or BMR, the Yank t/a mount crossmember is OK if you need a trans crossmember also..

you will have to make something unless you have a tailshaft like this one that puts it real close to where a TH400 mount sits, I just use a T56 crossmember with a spacer and a stock LS1 trans mount. Usuallt a TH350 mount is in front of the speed sensor on the trans itself, I have no idea what this tailshaft is from but I hope it never breaks

Is that the Tail housing that uses the VSS Sensor GM# 8655291 and reluctor ring GM# 8655315??

My tail is 9" long but it has a small hole on the side for the speedo. I wonder how my speedo is going to work???.

My understanding is its best to get direct manifold vacuum, not brake. Anyone care to comment?

You need a BOP tailshaft to get the big TH400 style hole for the sensor. They only made like 20 million TH350s and they ended up with a lot of different housings for different applications. Also that reluctor number is for a TH400 and I dont think it will work on a TH350, the one from a 700r works on a 350 if I remember..

I have my modulator hooked up by the check valve for the HVAC, the brake booster line should be fine - vacuum is vacuum.

Whats your reasoning, the brake booster is hooked to manifold vacuum is it not? Unless you are talking about a positive displacement blower - then a vacuum modulator shouldnt be used..
