Default T-rex cam converter????

On thunder racing website it shows that you need a 4,000+ converter? Since i am a daily driver and dont really need a converter that big with a stock transmission, would it be okay to get like maybe a 3500 stall or smaller??? Anybody done this??

If you are putting a TREX in a daily driver, I'm not sure what the issue is with a 4000 stall.

Use as big a stall as you feel comfortable with.

race cams go with race convertors. if streetability is what you need (dont know why you went with that cam then) go with a SS4000 minimum.

Sounds like you fell victim to the 'ole "bigger is better" fallacy. Wrong cam for a small stalled daily driver, IMO. If *I* were running that cam (and I'd only do it for an all out hydraulic cammed race effort that would see very minimal street duty) I'd go with a ~5000 stall and 4.30 gears. For a <4000 stalled car that actually sees a fair amount of street duty, I'd choose a different cam.

Nope won't screw up anything but possibly be a dog out of the hole.

You car will more than likely not idle at all at that level. That would be ignorant. Just get the stall you want and wait on putting the cam in till you are willing to use what is needed.
