Default Anyone go from a 3500 stall to a 4000+...??

Right now I have a Midwest 3500, but I'm thinking of going up to a higher stall. Possible choices are a TCI 3800 or 4400...Yank 4200 or 4400...maybe the SS3800...

My car has a cam, headers, 3.73s...and I would like to retain some drivability (which I have plenty of right now...it's great)...and it's mainly a drag car and will be forever. I put about 200 miles per weekend on it.

How do you like the ~4000 stalls? What kind of 60' and ET gain did you get?

Worth the swap?

I don't know if I got a dud or not but my favorite Tc was the ST3800. I went form a Y3000 to it and was a huge difference in 60ft. From a 1.74 to a 1.58 on ET Streets.

I then went to a PT4400 and had more consistant 1.57 60's but never any better than that N/A. Plus it was defiantely looser feeling but you get used to it. If I had to choose one now the ST3800 would be my choice.

For mainly a drag car, put some slicks and a YTP 4400 in it. Loose but fast. The SS3800 is too small.
