Default Truck pan w/ drain plug question

I put in the part# 24215535 on gmpartsdirect.com for the 4L60E truck pan and it says "PAN KIT CHANGES TO NEW NUMBER 24229658 *DOES NOT HAVE DRAIN PLUG*"

Does this mean they don't make the pans with drain plugs anymore? Anyone have a hookup in parts that can verify this?

That is correct. You can no longer get them grom GM. I purchased a bunch of "drain plug pans" and in came a bunch of pans I can't get rid of. They still have the recess where the plug used to be, but no plug. They also shaved off the passenger front corner to eliminate the seperate stop bracket for the level indicator.

You could always just add a drain plug to your pan (or add one to the deeper truck pan)... http://store.summitracing.com/partde...4925133+302544
