Clunking / Delay...

Clunking / Delay... I am having a problem... It sounds like a clunk but it only happens when I first come off the line like there is a delay between when I hit the gas and when the power hits the rear wheels. But its annoying as he&# and i would like to find out what it is, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks...
