Default Tranny Temp Gauge

I'm looking to install an Autometer tranny temp gauge. Where on a TH350 would I hook up the sensor? Thanks in advance!

Have a bung welded it to the trans pan. If you have a finned aluminum pan it may be thick enough to drill and tap it.

We run the autometer trans temp manifold inline with the cooler lines, it has a provision for the temp sender. with the rubber lines of the aftermarket cooler, it makes it extremely simple.

Clint, can you explain in a little more detail how this is setup?

When you do it inline you have to ground the sender correct? How did you do that in line.

Put me down for welding the sensor in the pan. The Autometer gauge comes with fittings to weld in.

Why not tap into the line pressure plug on the side of the tranny? an Autometer sending unit threads right in

Mike, your tranny has a spot right on the side, it should be the drivers side. it has a plug in it, pull that plug, and thread the fitting right in. My th-400 was the same way. much easier then tapping the pan. you might not even have to empty any fluid.
