Default V6 tranny?

I was wondering if anyone knew what automatic transmission came in the '94 Firebirds with the 3.4 (I believe they are the 4l60e's as well but am not sure)? I have a '94 Firebird A4 that I bought to do a V8 swap in and it just so happens that my wife's '94 z28 A4 needs a tranny, would the tranny's be a direct swap? I am not worried about whether or not the V6 tranny is weaker, I just need a temporary solution for a month or two until I get settled in here at my new USMC duty station and get the pistons and rods in the '98 turbo Camaro (I will start saving for a built tranny for her car then). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default

i thought i could do the samething with my 700r4 in my 87 v-6 bird, the tranny is much smaller, and some other things are different, converter is set up differently, but mostly it just wont bolt up to a 90* block. but it is the same length as far as drive shaft is conserned.
