3200(vig) - 4.10s - A4?
Anybody have this setup? 4.10s - 3200 stall - A4
current gears are 4.10s
A4 never been touched (42k miles)
it has bmr lower control arms and bmr panhard rod
bfg drag radials (they were free)
I want a vig or yank stall, 3200 or 3500. How rough will this be on the A4 and rearend. Eventually i'll prolly swap out the 4.10s for 3.42s, if it lasts anytime at all? I have to launch from an idle right now, if i torque up the car the least little bit it will spin the tires.

They wont work at the track unless you use a 27 inch tire trust me Ive tried it many ways. With factory size tires and 4.10's you will be hitting 4th right before you cross the traps, doing this will destroy your factory tranny.

i didnt put the 4.10s in, the car had them before i bought it. i do more 1/8th mile bracket racing than 1/4. 1/8th mile track is 2 minutes from my house. the nearest 1/4 is 2.5 hours away.
just mainly want to know what kind of luck people are having at launching with 4.10s and 3200 stall. Eventually i'll swap out the 4.10s for 3.42s for better gas mileage.
