Question Problems blocking off trans cooler lines???

Does anyone know if it would be a problem to block off the lines out to the trans cooler, and drive the car about 2 miles? My external cooler lost in it's fight with a curb , and I need to get the car home to fix it. I would prefer not to have to spend $75 - $100 to get the car towed, but I would also hate to block off the cooler lines and have something worse go wrong. I am sure that trans will not heat up to much in the 2 miles, but any input would be great.

Thanks

Default

I'd just bypass it by connecting the two lines running into the cooler together. Should be fine for a few miles.

do not drive your trans without lube, period. the advise to loop the lines is the best.
