Default Shift Kit Question

I was thinking about getting a shift kit for my car. I've heard good and bad about them, but was wondering what more people think? If it's a good investment, what kind of shift kit should I look into getting?

Superior is my favorite. Installed about 15 of them now.

I use the "modified" Trans-Go Performance Shift kit in all of my buildups. They allow you to "fine tune" the accumulation system if you want smooth part throttle shifts, along with firm WOT shifts. I do more than just install the kit "as is". I modify the kit to fit the particular application that it is going into, and with very good results. Let me know if I can be of help?

How much do you usually charge for a trans-go shift kit install? Thanks.

As I only do bench work on these units, I do not think that I could be of help.
