Default 98 flexplate

I was reading the faq because i'm about to do a th350 swap. I have a 98 camaro with a4. I noticed the faq said that a 98 flexplate or a 6.0 flexplate will work as long as I file the holes a little. When they printed 98 flexplate does that mean that the stockflexplate in my 98 camaro will work? And can I use my stock crossmember? I am going to use a sbc convertor.

Yup, I am using my 1998 Z28 stock flexplate with a B&M (SBC) converter. It has both old and new patterns. I don't know about the cross member though, sorry.
