Recommendations for TC
Hey guys, I cancelled my order with racenet.net, and demanded a refund for a TC I bought from them, so I figured I would start from scratch. What brand and more importantly what stall do you recommend for my car: 2000 SS, SLP LT's, ORY k&n, lid, HPPIII, 160 Stat and in 2 weeks will have LS1 Edit to replace the HPPIII. I originally ordered a Vig 2800 stall, but am thinking of going a little higher. My car is only used as a weekend warrior, with mostly street use and some occasional track use. Thanks for everyones input.

Depends on what your future plans are. When my car was basically stock, I had a VIG 3200 and loved it. When I got my H/C (current setup) I moved up to a 3600 stall only because I was spraying. Otherwise I would have gone bigger. On my Th400, I am going with a 4000 stall /t-brake.
With your current mods, I would go with a 3600, shift kit and remove TM. The 3600 is very streetable, and gives you room to mod your car in the future.

I have the Vig 3000 2.5 str and really like the TC. My TC will flash stall to 3500-3600 and cut .6 off my 1/4 (weather sucked that day, hot and humid). When the head/cam goes on I will upgrade to a higher stall. I knew that going in to it but was so far down the road.
It depends on whats to "loose" for you and how far down the road to you plan on doing head/cam if at all. I would say if possible get a ride with someone that has a smaller stall and someone that has a higher stall. This way you can see the street manners of both and what you prefer. You want something strictly for performance or something that just gets rid of the A4's dead spots? Also be prepared to get some DR's.

Well if it's pretty much a weekend warrior i'd prolly look into something like a SS3800 from yank or TCI's 3800. If I didn't drive my car so much i'd prolly get a 4000 stall but that would be too much for all the driving I do.
