I forget the exact parts, but I know some of them are machined in house...thats why their some freakin expensive (expect to pay north of $3,000 for their top of the line 4L60E with deep pan, 5 gear planetary, etc....WITH using a good core that you supply).

I would use a standard size band so you can stray from moddin the drum and possibly making it weak. I would go with blue plates too.

Go to http://www.700r4l60e.com/store/custo...&cat=22&page=1 This will give you an excellent idea of what you will get/need. If you need it to stand up to 625-650+ HP, will need to exchange the Street/Strip 3-4 clutch pack for the "Limited Street" 3-4 clutch setup ($14.35), and the HD steel sleeve kit ($70.00) for the input drum. If you have any questions on this, let me know?

but not for long......... he will learn sooner or later the 4l60E is a POS and CAN NOT be built to take high HP.... by high i mean over 600.. and drive it and it lasts..... This will be the 4th time ive rebuilt mine and the last... i wouldnt even rebuild it if i didnt need a car right now...... For the price of a built TH-400.... and a US Gear Overdirve unit its about the same price as a Rossler built 4l60E..... Hey Albert how much longer till your beast is done???
