tranny wont downshift and soft shifts now okay, here is the deal. trans was working PERFECT before the mods I made which are the following. I installed Race only headers, ORY, MagnaFlow CB, MSD 8.5mm wires, and NGK TR-6 gapped at .32 for 100shot.
after the install of all those things, the trans will not down shift from anything below 40mph. if I drop to 3rd to kick it from OD it will downshift, but not as necksnapping like before. also, the trans used to shift at 6K now it shifts at about 5700 and the shifts are softer than before too.
I know that A4 LS1's almost always require a tune after headers and stuff, but can the tune to out of wack enough to mess with the tune of the trans???

sounds like u need a rebuild.... i really dunno tho.. i know mine started shifting soft and not really on que, but it was tapping the rev limiter ect.. my problem was the 3-4 clutch
